Giving notice and fair warning…

For any of you who have befriended me on Faceb00k recently, I thank you, however, please be advised that I have disconnected my account there, or whatever the word they use is. It isn’t really something I enjoy doing myself, and I’ve been hearing things about security problems with that site and how there could be more problems in the future with things they are getting into. I don’t really want to deal with all that so I have discontinued my membership there for now.

That’s all I have for now. And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I think I could turn and live awhile with the animals…
They are so placid and self-contained,
I stand and look at them sometimes half the day long.

They do not sweat and whine about their condition,
They do not lie awake in the dark and weep for their sins,
They do not make me sick discussing their duty to God,
Not one is dissatisfied… not one is demented with the mania of owning things,
Not one kneels to another nor to his kind that lived thousands of years ago,
Not one is respectable or industrious over the whole earth.

Bex, what’s happening with your chair?

I only have family and a few friends on there. I never play the games. So I’m not really worried about it.

The things people worry about with if Facebook starts running a time line? I hate to tell everyone but the internet archives pick all that up anyhow, unless the site in question doesn’t allow archiving.

I went straight for deletion. While I know FB works–and works well–for some people, for me, no good could come of it.
