A hug-a-hug-a-hug For You!

Sometimes, when things are looking down and we can’t quite pull ourselves up and out of a funk, all we really need is a good hug.

Here are some hugs caught on camera that should lift anyone up out of a funk:

Even though we have no cats living with us at present, that is not to say I am not a cat person. I always had a cat or two with me but with the onset of older age and two large dogs demanding my attention, cats would make my life a bit too difficult right now.

But there could come a day when a cat will grace our home with his or her presence again. When there are no dogs left. I don’t think I could live without one or the other.

Cheers,

Bex

Yeah… jumping up on things is another reason maybe I won’t get a cat. I have become somewhat of an obsessive type about my kitchen counters and if I ever thought a cat had been on them, I couldn’t live here anymore. So no jumping on things here…

Since I am a cat person, I can vouch for cats and especially if they are indoor kitties. Every now and then, I think I would like to have a very small dog but I don’t think it will happen in this life time. Bailey is a very good lap warmer!

*grin* You could put a litter box on a shelf or table so you could reach it, Bex. Cats jump up on things all the time. [/enabler mode] šŸ˜‰

Yes, cats are generally low-maintenance. Some cats, that is; others won’t bother you, they’ll just tear your upholstery to pieces.

Given my choice, if I had the place for him, a nice big lovable dawg. No one is ever as loyal as a dog.

I know Rhu… I do love them but bending over is almost impossible for me anymore. I had to get Paul to take up the dogs’ water dishes for me just now. Doing a kitty box would not work for me and Paul would never consent to taking on that job!

But still, like I said, if the dogs are gone someday and I am still here, that would be my preference. A soft lovable kitty-kat just for my lap to keep my legs warm!

Anna – I haven’t finished reading your blog but I loved the little video you made of Bob coming down off the mountain of books! What a good kitty-girl she is. Not knocking over one single book!

You know, cats are remarkably low maintenance (hint, hint), and there are litter box fillers that will last a long time with no smell…just sayin’.

    Loved the hugs pix!
