2012 Holiday Gift Recommendation

My 2012 Holiday Gift Recommendation

You all know by now that when I find something super, I want to share it with you. For the music lovers out there, my

First Annual Holiday Gift Recommendation

is here – a CD by Kasey Chambers and her family:

Kasey Chambers, Poppa Bill and the Little Hillbillies

I have only just recently discovered Kasey Chambers and her wonderful family of music makers. They are from Australia and sing the most wonderful songs, mostly country/bluegrass style. This particular album linked above is one I received this week and am listening to it right now.

It’s super! What a fun album. Totally toe-tapping!

You can read all about it on the amazon link I have provided above, but I am here to say that this is one fab album for the whole family to enjoy. Even for me, a woman who has never given birth to a child, even though it’s a family oriented album, I am enjoying every single song immensely.

So if you’re wondering what to get that special family you know and love, or a child who might like singing along with some really fabulous musicians, this will do the trick!

Happy Holidays and Cheers,

My first impulse was to comment on your photo. Beautiful! I went to the link you posted and enjoyed reading the reviews etc but wish there was some sample listening. Looks like a ton of fun!

Rhu, that is an early MORNING sky…taken before a sunrise one year. It’s looking east, toward the ocean beyond the treed horizon.

I don’t have a camera that allows manual adjustment either, at least if it does I don’t know about it, so it came out pretty OK for my Kodak digital automatic. Thanks.

Just LOVE the new picture! The nighttime sky, the tree and sled–just perfect. I would never have thought of taking a Christmas picture in the dark.
