In Deep Sympathy

I am taking a silent break from this journal to concentrate my prayers on the people of Newtown, Connecticut, in their time of grief in the wake of the unbelievable murders of the twenty-six innocent people, both children and adults.

May God be with the survivors, families and loved ones of the people who have perished.

It’s now the 22nd Crone Sue and the world didn’t end. So you’ll have to do the cleaning I guess!

It’s so messed up that gun sales have skyrocketted. People don’t get it, most will not bring guns to their work or school where things have happened. Instead, they’ll keep them in their homes where the guns are more likely to be taken and used against them.

That’s what happened in Sandy Hook.

Thanks for the reminder Bex, of what is important in life. I’m with you in saying prayers for the town of Newtown. It is a terrible tragedy. We need to remember to take time out of our daily existence to think of others in crisis.

    It is horrific.

I really feel that all this panic about the supposed end of the world on the 21st is bringing out the worst in those that are barely tuned into reality, and that’s why things like this are happening right now.

Such a horrible event for the town, right when the rest of the world was getting ready to celebrate. Was just writing the other day about the Pied Piper of Hamelin taking the children away. 8-(
