Baking Lesson Number One…

Baking Lesson No. 1:

When you have a sheet of unbaked cookies sitting on the counter right next to a sheet of hot, right-out-of-the-oven cookies – and they look almost exactly the same – do NOT – REPEAT DO NOT – go to pick up the wrong sheet to put into the oven… or you will seriously burn your fingers!

Can you guess what I’ve been doing this morning/afternoon?

Photos to follow – maybe. After the pure unadulterated anger seeps out of me a little more…

It’s in every one of us to be wise;

Find your heart, open up both your eyes.

We can all know every thing without ever knowing why.

It’s in every one of us, by and bye.

Ouch!!! I hope you didn’t drop the freshly baked cookies!! 🙂

  2. TopsyTurvy says:

So glad it wasn’t a typing finger. That would be terrible, having to use it all the time or not do any blogging for awhile.

Hope your thumb is feeling better now.

  3. Bex says:

Luckily, the only finger I burned was my left thumb, which is the only finger on both hands that does not type… it just hangs there in the air, letting all the other 9 fingers do all the work.

  4. Sandy Freel says:

BUMMER..I hope they didn’t get to bad burned…you cant type if they did..even a bigger bummer.

  5. mz. em says:

Oh my! As I don’t cook much except for the annual pot pie. Take care of those fingers.

  6. Betty Lou says:

So sorry, Bex. I hope you heal fast.
