Step into the garden with me…

A little slide show of some photos I took this morning:

It’s warmed up a lot here… almost bordering on too warm for me, but I won’t complain — yet. I have not put in my a/c unit upstairs yet for sleeping, so if it gets hot in the night, I’m screwed. I am trying to wait as long as possible before blocking up a window with that A/C unit. I wish I wasn’t such a slave to the cool…

…but I am.

So that’s basically it. I am not in a chatty mood but wanted to share some garden and dog pics with you. I especially love the close-up ones of both dogger-dooz…

Cheers,

Bex & Co.

  1. Your property and pups are always abundantly beautiful.

Not too hot here yet, which is a good thing because the air-conditioning is being repaired in one of the apartments.

Oh, you! So Bex like to title these pics “garden” and then to start of with her lovely dogs! 🙂
I see your goal of putting up planters was fulfilled. Good for you! Looks lovely out there! We send you many of your weather systems and we’re not sending heat waves just yet so enjoy!

Beautiful! Your herb garden is doing great, isn’t it? I’d be useless in the heat too. Hugs xxx

We only have the one giant rhody next to the front porch… which is in shade almost all the time – it bloomed big-time last year but not this year… it does that… every other year we get blooms… the other flowering shrubs out near the street along the fence are not rhodys but azaleas… white and pinks… (or are azaleas a form of rhody?) I really am not a big rhody fan either… don’t like the wintering-over leaves – not very pretty in the cold weather…

Hopefully, you’re getting the same weather we’ve got coming here – after two very warm days we’ve got a front coming through and the highs are supposed to be from 66 to 75 right through Sunday.

Bex, you have some lovely rhododendrons in you yard. Are they all in very shady areas?

Unfortunately it will get that hot here, too, Bonnie. And probably sooner rather than later… I am keeping my fingers crossed it is the later… the dogs do not like the heat, but I will crank up the AC units when that happens and try to keep all 3 of us as cool as I can – Paul out on the water is on his own!

Good thing you don’t live here with the dogs. Right now it is 90 degrees and 54% humidity. 🙂
