Short but sweet.

I just found a fabulous site called BBC Radio 4, specifically

The Diary of Samuel Pepys Omnibus.

Go take a listen! His diary is reenacted by British actors and is so enjoyable to listen to. Have a look round the site, as well, and find other shows you may be interested in.

This site demands more thorough exploration!
