Lee Ann / Crochet Lady, gone but not forgotten

An online friend and a fellow Journalscape blogger, Lee Ann / Crochet Lady, passed away yesterday, 19 April 2016.

Here was her last Journalscape blog entry… I wish her peace now.

Crochet Lady’s last blog entry.

With love, Lee Ann…

I think I could turn and live with animals…

They are so placid and self-contained,

I stand and look at them sometimes half the day long.

They do not sweat and whine about their condition,

They do not lie awake in the dark and weep for their sins,

They do not make me sick discussing their duty to God,

Not one is dissatisfied… not one is demented with the mania of owning things,

Not one kneels to another nor to his kind that lived thousands of years ago,

Not one is respectable or industrious over the whole earth.

So sad. Seems like nearly everyone whose JS blog I read either vanished or died. Really, the fun pretty much went out of it for me replaced more by sorrow.

  3. Bex, thanks for posting Lee Ann’s passing. I have been checking in on FaceBook from time to time, to see how she was doing, her husband was posting updates, but I haven’t been in recently. Lee Ann will be missed.
