What happened to March?

Are you telling me that I haven’t done a blog entry since sometime in February?

Although I knew this fact and thought about it from time to time, I wasn’t ready to jump back in here again for some reason. I blame Facebook. It’s too easy to just do a quickie post at FB if you have something to say or to share with your “friends.” I plead guilty.

That’s not to say that this will be any kind of an interesting entry either, as I’m not prepared to do one. The problem with me is that I’ve found a hobby that eats up every available hour in my day that I’m not doing a chore or sleeping. Crocheting.

But you all know this already. So I figured, I’d share a few photos here and let this entry go at that. I wish I was more talkative but I’m not lately. I’ve done quite a few projects with yarn and so far, since around the middle of December, when I first put yarn to hook, I haven’t got tired of it at all – in fact my passion seems to be growing and I’m having a hard time letting it go and doing my daily chores around here… needless to say, my house is a mess, we have spiders on the ceilings, and little moth-y type bugs on the ceilings, and dust-kitties in all the corners, and I could go on and on about the sad state of our home, but cleaning is just not my thing. I need a maid! (Wasn’t it Neil Young who sand “A man needs a maid!” – well, so do some women!)

Oh darn. I’ve almost lost this page twice now. I have forgotten how to do photos here at WordPress! And I’m needing to get into something else so for now I will leave it with these words alone. Maybe one photo if I can figure it out.

Perhaps you can make comfort shawls for those grieving. I got one when Scott died from the church I used to belong to. They hadn’t gotten around to moving my membership. I still use it but usually for a cover over my legs as I watch TV. I bless those women who take the time to do this.

Isn’t interesting the housework always waits. I start dusting, a week goes by the dust is back. It would help if I kept the windows closed. 🙂
